2020 Year In Review—One that will not soon be forgotten!

I don’t think any of us realized how many things in our life that we take for granted—that is not until 2020.  Boy oh boy, there have been some seismic changes in our world!

For the most part, every aspect of daily life has been altered for many households.

The way we work, our children’s and family schedule of activities, the way in which we spend free time, how we go about household chores, the way we interact with family, friends and neighbors—literally everything has changed.

When this pandemic is over, never again will we take for granted: live music, going to the movies, school buses on the road, weekends spent on the soccer field, eating at restaurants, attending church services, air travel, having company for dinner, family gatherings, hanging out with work friends and all the other things that have created a huge void in our daily lives.

While Zoom and GoToMeeting have proven to be useful tools that help us connect with clients and each other, we have realized how much we miss that person-to-person interaction.

The good news is that we are very optimistic, hopeful and excited about what the future holds and we hope your are too!  Going through this “pandemic” experience is in some respects making us all better people.  We are learning adaptability, patience and grace. Most importantly many of us have a new found appreciation for each other and how dependent we are on each other when it comes to our own happiness.  Let’s all be grateful for the journey that was 2020 and keep our fingers crossed that 2021 brings more normalcy and less stress! Happy New Year!
